Difficulty: easy, Topic: firewall configuration on ubuntu/debian
Uncomplicated FireWall (ufw) allows you to block/unblock specific ports. If your application uses more than one port it would be easier for you to define application profile that contains several ports and enable/disable them using single rule.
In this example I use app profile called “my_app” that uses 3 ports: 15000 tcp, 8080 tcp and 9090 udp
